Privacy Policy

Last updated November 2, 2026

Sunday Code LLC, based in Texas, United States, operates Dialed. This policy explains how we handle information in the Dialed iPhone app, website, accounts, waitlist, and related services.

For privacy questions or requests, email hi@dialedgc.com. Our Terms and Conditions explain the rules for using Dialed.

Account and profile information

We collect your email address when you request a sign-in link, create an account, or join the waitlist. We keep an account identifier, sign-in records, and information needed to manage account access. Joining the waitlist does not create an account.

Your golfer profile includes your name, birth year, handicap, whether your handicap is an estimate, and handedness. We also collect the reasons you select for downloading Dialed and the dates that you create or update your profile.

We keep referral codes, the accounts that own and use them, and their use dates. The person who gives you a referral can see whether the code was used. This feature does not show them your email address, profile, or videos.

Videos and automatic uploads

Dialed stores the short clips that you save in its library on your device and uploads them to your signed-in account. Saving a clip starts cloud storage even if you do not select Analyze. Failed uploads can retry while the app is open or when you return to that account.

We store the selected video, clip name, club, camera view, duration, file type, file size, and related dates. Videos can show faces, bodies, other people, and private surroundings. They can also contain sound and embedded information, such as recording dates and locations.

If you provide recording or practice details, we store those details with the swing. These can include camera setup, target, shot direction, contact quality, and practice comparisons. Feedback includes the issue categories and notes that you submit, linked to your account and swing.

Only import footage that you have the right to share. Remove unwanted sound, location tags, and other private details before importing a video. Do not assume that trimming removes all private information.

Photos, local processing, and recorded locations

You can select videos from Photos or Files, or share them with Dialed through the iOS share menu. The app does not record new footage with your camera or microphone. Selecting a video does not give Dialed access to your entire photo library.

Dialed can request Photos access to read the selected video's date and location. You can refuse this permission or change it in iOS Settings. The video file can still contain its own date and location tags without this permission.

Dialed can read precise coordinates from a selected file or its Photos record. It can send those coordinates to Apple's location service to find a place name and time zone. This lookup can happen during import, before analysis. A place name and recording date can become part of the clip name uploaded to our servers.

Dialed does not continuously track your device's location. Its use of recorded coordinates is separate from live location tracking. Location tags can also remain inside an uploaded video.

When you use Find swing clips, Dialed examines the long source video on your device. It uses body movement and nearby audio peaks to find short swing sections. The full source video does not enter the upload flow. Each short clip that you choose to save in Dialed uploads to your account.

An iCloud video can require a download from Apple before local processing starts. Dialed removes its temporary source copy after saving or canceling. Saving clips to Photos requires permission. After you save clips in Dialed, you can separately save them to Photos or confirm deletion of the original from Photos.

AI analysis and derived information

When you request analysis, we create images from the saved video and examine visible movement. We store body points, estimated joint angles and depth, club paths, frame times, confidence scores, summaries, and practice suggestions. Body points include landmarks on the face, hands, torso, and legs.

We use these measurements to describe golf movement. We do not use them to identify you through face recognition or match your face against other people. These are movement estimates, not medical measurements, and they can be wrong.

We use OpenAI to locate ball contact and produce swing feedback. We send video images, frame times, club and camera details, and relevant body measurements. We also send your profile name, birth year, handicap, handicap estimate status, and handedness. Your selected reasons for downloading Dialed are not included in this profile data sent for analysis.

Images can show identifiable people and private surroundings. The current OpenAI requests contain images and text, rather than the video's audio track. Requesting another analysis processes the saved footage again and can produce a different result.

We disable retrievable response storage in our OpenAI requests. This does not mean that OpenAI retains no data. OpenAI's data controls explain its safety monitoring, temporary processing, retention exceptions, and default policy against API training unless a customer opts in.

We also keep job status, processing attempts, errors, model versions, and analysis usage. These records help us provide results, investigate failures, and manage service limits.

Staff review and model training

Authorized Dialed staff and service contractors can review uploaded footage, extracted images, measurements, results, and feedback. They use this access for support, operations, quality review, and labeling. Private storage does not mean that footage is visible only to you.

Our training process requires a separate permission record before staff can approve footage for training or export it for that purpose. Uploading a video or accepting the terms does not, by itself, provide that permission. With separate permission, footage, measurements, and labels can help develop and test Dialed's analysis models.

Training exports can include identifiable images. Replacing a name with a code does not make those images anonymous. Contact hi@dialedgc.com to ask about training permission or withdraw it.

Withdrawal applies to future use under that permission. It does not undo lawful past processing or automatically reverse completed model training. Deleting a swing does not automatically remove previously exported training copies. Contact us so that we can address those copies and explain the effect on completed training.

How we use and share information

We use information to provide Dialed and support its users. Our purposes include:

  • Create accounts, send sign-in links, and manage referrals and the waitlist.
  • Store clips and reviews and make them available across your signed-in devices.
  • Run swing analysis and tailor feedback to the profile details described above.
  • Organize clips and show processing updates, including optional Apple Live Activities.
  • Answer support requests, review quality, investigate failures, and prevent abuse.
  • Develop and test models under the separate training permission described above.
  • Meet legal duties and protect users, accounts, and the service.

We use the following providers and recipients for these purposes:

  • Supabase handles sign-in, account records, database records, private videos, and saved body tracks.
  • Cloudflare hosts the API and video processing service and handles service and security records.
  • OpenAI receives the images, profile details, and measurements described in the AI analysis section.
  • Apple handles selected Photos and iCloud features, recorded-place lookups, and optional Live Activity delivery.
  • Vercel hosts our website and staff web workspace and handles technical request and security records.
  • Email delivery services handle addresses and messages needed for sign-in and service communications.
  • Authorized staff and service contractors receive records needed for their permitted work.

We use providers to perform services for us, subject to applicable contracts and law. Some providers also process information for their own security and legal duties. Apple services and websites that you visit through external links have their own privacy terms.

We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising across other companies' apps or websites. The current app has no advertising trackers or payment collection. Our public legal pages do not add analytics or advertising cookies.

We can disclose information when required by law or a valid legal request. We can also disclose it to protect people and the service, or when you direct us to do so. If the business changes ownership, relevant records can transfer with the service, subject to applicable privacy duties.

Device storage and technical records

Dialed stores sign-in credentials in the iOS Keychain. It also keeps local clips, thumbnails, capture details, reviews, body tracks, and preferences. Local libraries stay separate for each account. Signing out removes the active session but does not erase saved local or cloud records.

Our hosting and authentication providers process technical information to deliver and protect the service. This can include IP addresses, browser or device details, requested addresses, request times, response status, and errors. The Vercel Privacy Notice describes its handling of website and hosting information.

If Live Activities are enabled, we store an activity identifier and a delivery token linked to your account and swing. Apple uses the token to route status updates to your device. Live Activities can show swing status and club details on your Lock Screen. You can control this feature in iOS Settings.

Retention and deletion

Saved videos and reviews do not expire automatically. We keep them to provide your library until you delete them or request removal. Account, profile, referral, and waitlist records also have no automatic expiry in the current service. Contact us to request removal of those records.

We keep support, security, and diagnostic records for the purposes described here. Retention depends on the request, security needs, provider rules, and legal duties. We do not promise one fixed retention period for all records. We limit retained information to what is needed for those purposes.

Deleting a swing removes it from the app's library and starts removal of the cloud video, results, feedback, and linked training labels. Cleanup can take additional time if an upload or analysis is still running or a removal fails. A temporary deletion record helps stop unfinished work from restoring deleted files.

Temporary server processing files are removed after normal processing ends. Live Activity delivery records expire after eight hours and are removed during delivery cleanup, or earlier when delivery finishes or a token becomes invalid. Backups and provider records can remain under their retention rules and legal duties.

Deleting a saved swing does not delete the original from Photos or Files. Copies already saved on other devices or in device backups can remain. Remove local copies from those devices as well. Previously exported training copies require the separate process described above.

Signing out or uninstalling Dialed does not delete your cloud account or cloud library. The current app has no account deletion button. Email hi@dialedgc.com to request account deletion, including linked profile and content records.

Your choices and privacy rights

You can edit your golfer profile and delete individual swings in the app. You can limit Photos access and turn off Live Activities in iOS Settings. To avoid uploading a video, do not save or import it into Dialed. To avoid sending it for AI analysis, do not select Analyze.

Email hi@dialedgc.com to request access, correction, a copy, account deletion, or removal from the waitlist. Use your account email when possible. We can ask for information needed to confirm that a request concerns your account.

Depending on the law that applies, you can have rights to restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy regulator. If applicable law gives you an appeal right, send an appeal to the same email address. We will handle requests within applicable legal deadlines and explain any lawful limits on a request. We will not penalize you for exercising a legal privacy right.

Security and processing locations

We use account access controls, private storage, and temporary download links to protect footage. Staff access is restricted by role. No storage or transmission method provides complete security.

Sunday Code LLC operates in the United States. Our providers can process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Privacy laws can differ from those where you live. Where law requires safeguards for transfers between countries, those requirements apply to our use of providers.

Age limits and changes

Dialed is intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child provided information, contact hi@dialedgc.com so that we can investigate and address it.

We will post changes to this policy with a new effective date. We will give further notice or request separate permission where required by law. Contact Sunday Code LLC at hi@dialedgc.com with questions about this policy.
